Client: Nottingham City Council
When: April 2022
One of our valued clients, Nottingham City Council, approached us to help with a installing planters across the city centre. The project was part of the Welcome Back Fund which provided councils with a share of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the purpose of rejuvenating the city centre and welcoming people back post pandemic.
This was something a little different to our normal workflows but we were more than happy to be involved in such a project. The scope was to supply and install 18 planters around the city centre.
The planters were made locally by TDP Ltd, selected as they design and manufacture sustainable, environmentally friendly furniture using recycled plastic waste. The trees and shrubs were sourced from local nurseries.
It was great to be involved with a project aimed at giving a lift to the city, and judging by the many comments received during installation, it has been a success with local residents and business owners a like.
